Alocasia Cuprea is a truly extraordinary plant known for its unusual, alien-like appearance. The plant's leaves have a stunning metallic sheen, emerging a deep burgundy colour that gradually fades to a softer bronze-green. The backs of the leaves display a vibrant deep red, creating a striking contrast that is sure to catch the eye.

The variegated version of Alocasia Cuprea is particularly rare and sought after. These plants have been carefully grown from corms taken from our mother plant, making them a unique addition to any plant collection.

The plants shown in the pictures are exactly what you'll receive. Plant A is currently a three-leaved plant with variegation patches on each leaf, while Plant B is completely variegated. The leaves of Plant B emerge in a pale baby-pink colour and then transition to a soft bronze, finally settling into a pale green. Despite being exceptionally slow-growing, our completely variegated Cupreas, like Plant B, have shown remarkable persistence thanks to the presence of some green in their leaves. This distinguishes them from other fully variegated plants, such as Monstera albos, which may struggle to thrive without any green.

We only ship plants on Mondays. Please order before 2pm on Sunday to ensure your plant will be sent the following Monday. Orders placed after this time MIGHT not be shipped untill the following week.

We only ship plants to non-quarantine states (sorry sorry WA, TAS and NT residents). Shipping of plants is capped at $18.00 per order. This includes the packing materials and labour times. We use recycled packing where possible to reduce our waste and keep cost down, but we ensure that all packing material is sturdy enough to resist damage during transit.

If no one is home to receive your order, the parcel will be left in a safe place. We will not request signature on delivery, as parcels sent back to the post office may not get picked up for days, therefore increasing the amount of stress placed on the plant(s) inside.

This plant can also be picked up from the Northern Wellbeing Centre; 113C miller st, Epping VIC. If you select this option at check-out, we will email you to organise a pick-up time.
